PTA 2011-12 Memory Book time is here!!! Place your order today. Reserve your copy by returning the bottom portion of the order form along with a check payable to Mansfield PTA for $23.50 before Feb 10th ($25.00 after). Send the order form to your child's teacher. Put on the envelope Memory Book, c/o Kiana Wiggins, Mr. Tyson's class.

We Have a Winner!!
Congratulations to Mrs. Baggerly’s 5th Grade class. They are the winners of the Build A Fort with Box Tops Contest (sponsored by the PTA) with a submission of 1000 box tops! Thank you to Friendly’s of Hackettstown, Pronto Pizza of Mansfield and the PTA for their prize donations. I would also like to acknowledge our 2nd place winner, Mrs. Iaione’s 4th grade class, with a submission of 900 box tops. Both classes submitted more than our winning class last year. Thank you to all who participated. Next contest coming soon!

Bad Weather Information
Please remember that whenever school is dismissed early due to bad weather, ALL STUDENTS WILL BE SENT HOME AND AFTER CARE WILL BE CANCELLED. If there is a delayed opening, school opens at 10:25 am for all students. THERE WILL BE NO BEFORE CARE. School closures and delays are announced on WRNJ 1510 (radio station), on TV via Channel 18 (WFMZ) , WNBC (Channel 4) on Comcast cable, the Honeywell Instant Alert System, and the Mansfield School Website, www.mansfieldelementary.org, and Mansfield School’ s main phone number 908-689-3212.
Board of Education Meetings
Formal action is expected at each of the above Regular Board Meetings. The meetings will be held at the Mansfield Township School commencing at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise announced. (MORE)

Mansfield Elementary school will continue to offer both the Before and After Care Program for children in kindergarten through 6th grade next year. Each program will be run by Mansfield staff and will provide an array of activities and homework assistance to make before school and after school enjoyable for your child.
